What a fantastic game for our Detroit Tigers fans! Heading into Boston against the Red Sox is never easy, but our boys managed to clinch the win in a tight contest. This kind of thrilling performance is why we love baseball so much! Early Challenges
Both teams had a slow start with solid defensive plays and remarkable pitching. In the second inning, the Red Sox took an early lead when Ceddanne Rafaela managed to score thanks to a single by Nick Sogard. Our lineup seemed to struggle a little when it came to cracking the Red Sox defense, with strikeouts plaguing our early innings.The Turnaround
The tide turned in the fifth inning when our Tigers made their move. Javier Báez and Dillon Dingler were crucial in setting up the scoring opportunity. Then, Jahmai Jones delivered the clutch hit that brought in not just one but two runs, swinging the score to our advantage, 2-1.
