Battle Begins

In a highly anticipated showdown between the Yankees and the Red Sox, the game did not disappoint as our very own Bronx Bombers emerged victorious in a tightly contested game. The top of the 1st inning saw Rob Refsnyder and Trevor Story striking out against our ace, keeping the Red Sox scoreless. The action began in our favor during the bottom of the 1st inning when Cody Bellinger single-handedly reached base. Then, boom! 💥 Ben Rice launched a 364-foot homer, quickly putting us in front at 2-0!

Tit for Tat

By the 3rd inning, there was some turbulence as the Red Sox managed to even the score at 2-2 with Trevor Story bringing in two runs. Not to be overshadowed, Aaron Judge showed his prowess again by singling Grisham home in the bottom of the 5th to bring the score to 3-2 Yankees. However, the never-say-die Red Sox managed to level the score again in the 6th inning thanks to a solo homer by Story.

Nail-Biting Finish

Fast-forward to the 8th inning: the game was hung in a stalemate, but it was Austin Wells who brought the magic back to the Yankees! 🍎 Wells lined a single to right, allowing Jazz Chisholm Jr. to score and put the Yanks ahead 4-3. As tension mounted in the top of the 9th, David Bednar took to the mound and delivered a masterful performance, striking out two Red Sox batters and sealing the win!

Final score: Yankees 4, Red Sox 3. What a thrilling match! Thanks to stellar plays and that electric crowd in Yankee Stadium, we once again show the Red Sox how it's done! ⚾🎉
