A Promising Start for the D-backs
Hey Diamondbacks fans!
Despite the final score, let's chat about that thrilling start from our Arizona D-backs against the Giants. The top of the 2nd inning saw Gabriel Moreno kick things off with a walk, followed by some great hustle from Alek Thomas who also reached base. Then, the highlight of the inning was Jake McCarthy’s incredible triple to right field, bringing home Moreno, Thomas, and Ildemaro Vargas thanks to a fielding error! We took the lead 3-0 early on. 
Momentum Shift in the Mid-Innings
After a strong initial performance, our defense held tight until the bottom of the 6th inning. Unfortunately, a few errors and powerful Giants hits shifted the momentum. Jung Hoo Lee and Christian Koss combined to give the Giants crucial runs during their rally. Heliot Ramos added to this with a two-run homer, making it a rough inning for us as the Giants pulled ahead.
Late Game Spark & Final Push
In the 8th inning, Gabriel Moreno kept our spirit alive with a solo homer to left-center, proving he's a force to be reckoned with! Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to sustain a comeback. While the Giants managed to expand their lead with a few more runs, it's games like this that can build resilience for our team. Let's shake off this 11-5 loss and look forward to the next game.
