What a game for us as the Arizona Diamondbacks showcased both offensive power and pitching prowess to secure a decisive 5-0 victory over the Washington Nationals! Let's dive into the major highlights and key moments from the game.Marte's Early Homer Sets the Tone 
Corbin Carroll got us started on the right foot by drawing a walk and promptly stealing second. Then, Ketel Marte stepped up and blasted a two-run homer to right center, putting us ahead 2-0 right out of the gate. It was a fantastic start that set the tone for the rest of the game.Solid Pitching Shuts Down Nationals 
Our pitching staff was lights out, keeping the Nationals' offense completely in check. They didn't allow a single run and made quick work of their lineup inning after inning. Shoutout to the entire pitching rotation for such a dominant performance!Carroll and Marte Continue to Shine 
In the fifth inning, Geraldo Perdomo kicked things off with a double. Corbin Carroll followed with a triple to center, bringing Perdomo home. Carroll then scored on a sacrifice fly by Ketel Marte, extending our lead to 4-0. Later, in the sixth inning, Gabriel Moreno hit a sacrifice fly to drive in Lourdes Gurriel Jr., making it 5-0.Insurance Runs and Defensive Consistency 
As the game progressed, our defense continued to thwart any Nationals' attempt to get on the board. Jake McCarthy and Eugenio Suárez both contributed key hits and sacrifices to maintain our momentum.Closing it Out in Style 
In the ninth inning, despite a few base-runners, our pitching lineup stayed composed and executed perfectly to close out the game. Bryce Jarvis and the relief crew capped a stellar performance with a 1-2-3 inning to secure the win.Final Thoughts
