Tough Night in LA for the Braves
It's always a challenge when the Atlanta Braves head into Dodger Stadium, and last night was no exception. Despite the high hopes and energy we fans carried into the game, the Braves fell to the Dodgers in a tough 5-1 loss. Let's break down how it went down.Starting Inning Struggles
Right off the bat (pun intended), the Braves' lineup faced a fierce competitor on the mound. Our leadoff man, Ronald Acuña Jr., couldn't catch a break, striking out swinging, with Ozzie Albies quickly following suit. It was clear the Dodgers came to play hardball. While Austin Riley managed to snag a walk, reminding us all of his keen eye, Matt Olson's fly out to right field ended our hopes of an opening assault. As the innings progressed, our Braves tried to claw back, with moments of hope flickering through. Adam Duvall and Marcell Ozuna each singled, displaying brief glimmers of our hitting capabilities. Our sole run of the night came from an Ozuna homer in the seventh, but by then, the Dodgers' lead, bolstered by another devastating homer from Ohtani, felt insurmountable.Pitching Pains

However, the early damage and a subsequent homer from Teoscar Hernández in the sixth put a victory further out of reach.
