Tigers’ Defense Shines in a Nail-Biter Finish 
The Detroit Tigers pulled off a thrilling 1-0 victory against the Baltimore Orioles in a gripping showdown at Comerica Park. It was a game that kept us on the edge of our seats, as our boys held the Orioles scoreless and scraped through with just one run. The Tigers jumped into the lead early, thanks to a solo homer by Kerry Carpenter in the bottom of the 1st inning. Carpenter blasted the ball 414 feet to right center, putting the Tigers ahead, 1-0. It was the only run of the game, but the Tigers made it count in a huge way.Dominant Defense Did the Trick 
Our pitching staff was absolutely ON tonight! Here’s a rundown:- Beau Brieske started the game strong, setting the tone early.
- Hugh Smith came in during the 2nd inning and kept the Orioles at bay.
- Even though it was a calm game with lots of groundouts, strikeouts by Carpenter and Holton in crucial moments ensured we held onto the thin lead.
Meadows Triple Thrill & McKinstry’s Heroics
Despite only scoring one run, our batters had some exciting moments:- Parker Meadows showed his prowess with a single in the 3rd and a stunning triple in the 8th inning, pumping up the crowd and threatening to add to the score.
- In the 8th, Zach McKinstry showed patience by drawing a walk right after coming into the game and followed it up by stealing second, displaying aggressive base-running skills.
Closing It Out in Style 
The 9th inning was tense! Gunnar Henderson of the Orioles hit a nerve-wracking triple, but Jason Holton clinched it by striking out Anthony Santander, securing the win for us.The Tigers showed incredible resilience, and the defense was impeccable throughout the game. With tonight's performance, we can keep our playoff dreams alive!
