An Electrifying Night for the Phillies
Hey Phillies fans! What a game we just witnessed at Citizens Bank Park! Our boys really did us proud by clinching an exhilarating 11-8 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. The Amazing Start: Bohm's Big Bang
The action kicked off with Alec Bohm delivering a fantastic show in the first inning. After Trea Turner drew a walk, Bohm sent the ball soaring into the left field bleachers for a two-run homer. It's always great to see us take an early 2-0 lead and get the crowd pumped.Holding Strong and Breaking Through
Our pitchers kept the Orioles in check through the second and third innings, but the O's managed to tie it up. Our response was electric! Alec Bohm smacked his second homer of the night in the 5th inning, driving in Trea Turner again and sparking our big rally. Garrett Stubbs and Johan Rojas each contributed with clutch hits, and that wild pitch allowed Stubbs to score and rojas to advance, lighting up the scoreboard to 8-3. Phew! What a way to break the tie!Shutting It Down
While the Orioles tried to make a comeback, we stayed strong. Liover Peguero stepped up in the 7th with a huge two-run double that further secured our lead. On the mound, our bullpen, especially Genesis Cabrera and Tim Mayza, came through in the clutch to prevent significant damage in the late innings, despite Willy Vasquez's solo dinger in the 9th. Closing it out at 11-8 was such a rush!Let's Celebrate!
Philly fans, let's savor this victory! We're showing resilience and strength every game. Hats off to our magnificent offense, with Alec Bohm spearheading a perfect night for runs.Scoreboard for Orioles @ Phillies (March 13th, 2026)
