The Orioles faced off against the Texas Rangers in a tough matchup and, unfortunately, walked away with a 10-2 loss. Here’s how it all unfolded for our beloved Orioles:

The bottom of the fourth saw some excellent defense as the Orioles managed a double play to stop the Rangers from extending their lead further.
Despite the final score, the spirit of Orioles fans shines brightest in tough times. We know our guys will rise and take the field again with determination and the hope of capturing a victory next time. Let's keep up that passion, Orioles fans!

Early Innings Frustration
The game started with both teams struggling to get on the scoreboard through the first two innings. Although Ryan O'Hearn managed to draw a walk in the second inning, the Orioles couldn't capitalize on it. It wasn’t until the bottom of the third that the Rangers struck first; Adolis García's single brought in two runs, adding another on Jonah Heim's single to bring the score to 3-0 against us.
Hope in the Fourth
Gary Sánchez gave us something to cheer about in the fourth inning as he smashed a two-run homer, driving in Gunnar Henderson and narrowing the gap to 3-2. It was a beautiful 381-foot blast that temporarily reignited our hopes.

Ranger's Offensive Surge
The Rangers, however, answered back in the fifth and sixth innings by adding four more runs to their lead. Alejandro Osuna and Adolis García continued to trouble the Orioles' pitchers, extending the score to 7-2. Román Urias and Cedric Mullins tried to rally the troops with singles in the seventh inning, but a strong Rangers defense and our inability to convert key plays left us scoreless.Game Slips Away
By the eighth inning, the Rangers were taking full advantage of wild pitches and walks to advance their runners and ultimately bring in three more runs, leaving the score at 10-2. Though Jacob Stallings and Coby Mayo fought hard, attempting late-game surges by stepping in as pinch hitters, it wasn’t enough to turn the tide. The excitement of the crowd couldn’t prevent Ramon Urias from being our final out at third base.Despite the final score, the spirit of Orioles fans shines brightest in tough times. We know our guys will rise and take the field again with determination and the hope of capturing a victory next time. Let's keep up that passion, Orioles fans!
