Orioles Dominate Rangers for a Big 8-4 Win!

What a game, Orioles fans! 🎉 The O’s put on a great performance against the Texas Rangers, securing a fantastic 8-4 victory. Let’s dive into the highlights of this action-packed game.

Explosive Start in the Second Inning

It all started in the top of the 2nd inning when Jordan Westburg singled to left. Colton Cowser then walked, setting up a scoring opportunity for Cedric Mullins. Mullins reached on a bunt single, leading to a throwing error by the Rangers' pitcher. This allowed Westburg to score, with Cowser advancing to third. Then, Ramon Urías singled to center, bringing both Cowser and Mullins home! The Orioles were up 3-0.

The excitement continued as Anthony Santander singled to right, scoring Urías. The O's finished the inning with a 4-0 lead, and the bats were just getting started.

Mullins and Westburg Show Power

In the top of the 3rd inning, Cedric Mullins hit a massive homer to right, extending the Orioles lead to 5-2. 💥 But it didn’t stop there. Jordan Westburg joined the home run party in the top of the 6th inning with a 424-foot bomb to center, scoring Ryan O'Hearn and making it a dominant 7-2 lead for the O’s.

Bullpen Seals the Deal

Our pitching staff did a solid job keeping the Rangers at bay. Even when the Rangers scored two runs in the bottom of the 8th inning, our bullpen held strong. Felix Bautista got the final outs we needed to keep our lead intact.

Insurance Run in the 9th

To cap things off, Ryan O'Hearn smacked a homer to left center (387 feet) in the top of the 9th inning, adding an insurance run to make it 8-4. This was a perfect way to conclude an excellent performance by our boys in orange and black.

Orioles fans, this was a game to remember. The team showed energy, power, and resilience. Let’s carry this momentum forward. Go O’s! 🐦⚾
