Tough Night at Busch Stadium
Last night was rough for us Cardinals fans as our team took a hit against the Red Sox, ending with an 11-3 defeat. The energy at Busch Stadium was electric, hoping for a win against Boston, but it seems luck was not on our side.Early Game Struggles
The game started with the Red Sox taking an early lead with a home run by Tyler O'Neill in the first inning, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Despite strong efforts by our Cardinals, the Red Sox kept pushing, extending their lead to 2-0 by the second inning. Our defense tried to hold them back, but Connor Wong and Garrett Cooper continued to find gaps, increasing the pressure.Our bats struggled to respond in the early innings with Matt Carpenter, Lars Nootbaar, and Paul Goldschmidt unable to get things rolling against a tight Boston defense. Nolan Arenado and co. tried to ignite a comeback, but the efforts couldn't convert into runs on the board.

Into the fourth, we saw a glimmer of hope when Lars Nootbaar crushed a home run to right center, pulling one back for the Cardinals

We managed to squeeze in two more runs thanks to Brendan Donovan's single and a wild pitch that allowed Arenado to score, demonstrating the never-say-die attitude of our team.
