Victory for the Reds! 
What a fantastic night for our Cincinnati Reds! We dominated the Chicago Cubs with a final score of 7-1, showcasing both our offensive and defensive prowess. Let's dive into the highlights of this exciting game! Early Lead with Benson’s Blast 
The action started in the bottom of the 2nd inning when Tyler Stephenson singled to left. Jake Fraley smartly grounded into a fielder's choice but then stole second, setting the stage for Will Benson. And Benson didn't disappoint! He homered to right, bringing Fraley home and giving us an early 2-0 lead. Way to go, Benson! 
A Wild Pitch and a Big Lead! 
In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Spencer Steer showcased his aggressive baserunning. After doubling to center and stealing third, he scored on a wild pitch by Taillon. This brought our lead to 3-0. Friedl’s Fireworks! 
The bottom of the 5th inning saw TJ Friedl adding to our lead in spectacular fashion. With Santiago Espinal on second and Jonathan India on first, Friedl crushed a 374-foot homer to right field, bringing all three home and extending our lead to 6-0. Such an electrifying moment! Candelario and the Final Touch 
Jeimer Candelario gave us the final surge in the bottom of the 8th inning with a massive solo homer, making it 7-0. His 402-foot blast concluded our scoring fest.Closing It Down 
Our bullpen was lights out! Moll, Wilson, Sims, and Farmer all pitched brilliantly. Despite a solo homer by Busch in the top of the 9th, their combined effort ensured the Cubs couldn't muster a comeback. Final Thoughts 
This game was a true showcase of our team's talents and tenacity. From stellar pitching to timely hitting, the Reds were on point throughout the night. It's performances like this that make us excited for the rest of the season!Great job, Reds!
