What a game, Astros fans! Our beloved Houston squad triumphed over the Chicago Cubs with a solid 7-4 victory! Let's dive into the highlights that made this game unforgettable.
Early Action and Defensive Efforts 
The game started with a bang as both teams showcased their defensive prowess, keeping the scoreboard empty until the bottom of the 3rd inning. Up until then, our team looked sharp on the field, with Jeremy Peña making some clutch plays.
Explosive Offense in the 3rd and 4th Inning 
Our bats finally came alive in the bottom of the 3rd inning. A great sequence of plays led to Jose Altuve scoring after Victor Caratini's sac fly. The real fireworks happened when Yainer Diaz launched a 377-foot homer to bring in three runs! What a moment!
Then in the 4th, Cam Smith added his own fireworks with a massive 398-foot home run, bringing Isaac Paredes and Jose Altuve home and extending our lead to 7-0!
Closing it Out 
Though the Cubs fought back with some late runs, the heroic efforts of our bullpen sealed the deal. Sousa and Hader came in to shut down any comeback attempt by the Cubs, ensuring our 7-4 victory!
