What a Game! Brewers Take Down Cubs with a 7-1 Victory! 
From the first pitch to the final out, our Milwaukee Brewers brought the fire and gave us a game to remember! Let's break down this incredible win against the Chicago Cubs.
Rocky Start with Hoerner's Homer
The game kicked off with a bit of a scare when Nico Hoerner sent one over the fence to put the Cubs up 1-0. But our pitching settled in thanks to some clutch performances from our hurler, keeping the Cubs at bay the rest of the way.
Quiet Start for Our Bats
We had a tough time getting anything going at the plate in the first three innings. Solid defense by the Cubs and some unlucky groundouts kept us off the scoreboard. But we knew it was only a matter of time before we turned things around.
Explosive 4th Inning! 
The game totally turned around in the bottom of the 4th inning. William Contreras got things started with an infield single, and then Christian Yelich absolutely crushed a 422-foot homer to put us ahead 2-1! The momentum didn't stop there. Jake Bauers and Rhys Hoskins kept the line moving, and Sal Frelick brought in another run with a single to center. But wait, there’s more! Brice Turang stepped up and hammered a three-run homer to give us a commanding 7-1 lead!
Shutdown Pitching 
Our pitching staff locked it down from there. Cubs hitters couldn't get anything going as we fanned batter after batter. Key performances included Junis coming in for relief and slamming the door shut in the 8th inning.
Brewers' Defense Shines 
When the Cubs did manage to get some wood on the ball, our defense was right there. Flawless fielding and clutch outs kept the Cubs from finding any rhythm.
