Hey Cubs fans, what a thrilling game we had against the Pirates today! Our boys came away with a solid 9-5 victory, and there were some standout performances worth highlighting. Let's break it down!Starting Slow but Finishing Strong 
The game started off a bit shaky for us. In the bottom of the 1st inning, the Pirates managed to score two runs, putting us behind early. But fear not, because Seiya Suzuki and Dansby Swanson were just getting warmed up!Explosive 4th Inning 
The top of the 4th inning was where our bats really came alive. Seiya Suzuki blasted a 2-run homer to right, tying the game at 2-2. Then Nico Hoerner doubled and Dansby Swanson hit a gigantic homer to center, giving us a 5-2 lead! Building the Lead 
The top of the 5th inning saw us extending our lead even further. Key hits from Nico Hoerner, Pete Crow-Armstrong, and Miguel Amaya contributed to adding 4 more runs, putting us comfortably ahead at 9-2. Shoutout to Amaya for that clutch single that drove in two runs!Pirates Battle Back But Fall Short 
While the Pirates managed to score a couple more runs, including a solo homer by Bryan De La Cruz in the 6th and a mini-comeback in the 9th, our bullpen held strong. Daniel Palencia and Ben Hodge closed the door, ensuring a Cubs victory. Final Score: Cubs 9 - Pirates 5
