Exciting Victory for the Redbirds! 
What a game, fellow Cardinals fans! Today, we showed the Cubs what we're made of with our powerful 8-2 win! Our boys truly took control starting in the bottom of the 4th inning, and they never looked back. The initial deadlock was finally broken thanks to Lars Nootbaar's majestic 396-foot homer to right field, bringing Willson Contreras home and putting us up 2-0.The Fifth Inning Onslaught 
The 5th inning was electric! Brendan Donovan stepped up big time with a 393-foot home run, driving in Pedro Pagés and extending our lead to 4-1. Then, not to be outdone, Alec Burleson crushed a 386-foot shot, driving in Masyn Winn and bringing the scoreboard to an exhilarating 6-1! Momentum was squarely on our side, and the team played like world-beaters.Closing the Deal 
In the 6th inning, Nolan Arenado and Nolan Gorman sealed the deal with Gorman's powerful 415-foot homer bringing in Arenado. It was smooth sailing from there, as the bullpen kept the Cubs in check. Kudos to our relievers, including O’Brien and Muñoz, for holding down the fort and ensuring we walked away comfortably victorious. The Birds on the Bat put on a show, and I couldn't be prouder. Keep that momentum going, boys! Let's take this energy into the next series. Go Cards!
