Coming off a series of optimistic performances, the Chicago White Sox ventured into Target Field with high spirits, ready to clash with the Minnesota Twins. The third inning shone a glimmer of hope, as Kevin Pillar and Korey Lee lifted the spirits with solo homers to left, narrowing the Twins' lead. In a strategic play during the fifth, Braden Shewmake's daring steal home after a strikeout painted a picture of the White Sox's relentless fight, edging the score to 4-3. Unfortunately, this momentum was short-lived as the Twins extended their lead with two more runs in the bottom of the fifth, a blow from which our Sox struggled to recover.
