Reds' Early Explosion

What a game, Reds fans! 🚀 Our boys came out swinging in the top of the first inning. Jonathan India kicked things off with a single to center, setting the stage for Elly De La Cruz to smash a homer to right center, bringing India home. With a 2-0 lead right out of the gate, you knew this game was going to be special!

Lockdown Defense Early On

Our defense was on point too. Xavier Edwards, Jake Burger, and Jesus Sanchez were all shut down in the bottom of the first inning. It was clear from the start that our pitching was going to dominate.

Stellar Third Inning

The third inning was another highlight. After a single from India and some errors by the Marlins, we managed to score two more runs. TJ Friedl followed that with a sacrifice fly to bring Elly De La Cruz home. Marlins had no answer to our strategic plays, and at the end of the third, we were up 4-0.

Marte's Monster Homer and Ty France's Blast

In the fourth inning, Jake Fraley got on base, setting it up for Noelvi Marte to deliver a towering homer to right center. Later, Ty France joined the party with a solo shot to center in the fifth inning, extending the lead to 7-0. We were in complete control by this point.

Marlins Try to Battle Back

The Marlins showed some life in the bottom of the sixth inning when Jesus Sanchez hit a solo homer. They added two more runs in the seventh but were still trailing by a significant margin. Our guys kept their cool and didn't allow the Marlins to build any momentum.

De La Cruz Does It Again!

Just when you thought it couldn't get better, Elly De La Cruz homered again in the eighth inning, making it 8-3. This kid is proving to be an absolute dynamo for our team!

Final Blows in the Ninth

We sealed the game in the top of the ninth with Tyler Stephenson, Jeimer Candelario, and Ty France all getting on base. Jake Fraley then doubled to left, bringing in both Stephenson and Candelario to make it a solid 10-3 lead.

Closing It Out

Joey Wiemer took over in left field in the bottom of the ninth, and Wilson relieved Farmer. No further damage was done by the Marlins, as Burger, Hill, Bride, and Stowers were all efficiently shut down.

What a performance by our Reds! For a final score of 10-3, this was a game to remember. Let's keep this momentum rolling! ⚾🌟
