Marlins Start Strong with 5-Run Inning! 💥

What a start to the game! The Miami Marlins exploded in the bottom of the 1st inning with a power show. After Xavier Edwards grounded out, Jake Burger set the tone with a majestic 399-foot homer to center. Following singles and walks, Derek Hill crushed a grand slam to center field, bringing home Jonah Bride, Jesus Sánchez, and Otto Lopez. By the end of the inning, we were comfortably leading 5-0!

Pitchers Take Control Mid-Game

The Marlins pitchers were lights out through the middle innings, keeping the Reds scoreless. Relievers like Cronin and Nardi did an excellent job! The Reds did have some base runners, but each time our pitchers found a way to slam the door shut. Props to our defense for staying strong and making key plays.

Jake Burger’s Second Homer! 💪

In the bottom of the 5th, Jake Burger delivered another blast, this time a 422-foot shot to left. It was a solo homer, but it added an essential insurance run, pushing our lead to 6-0. Some solid work on the base paths by Otto Lopez, including a stolen base, added to our aggressive approach.

Late Game Fireworks from Reds Not Enough! 😅

Things got tense in the top of the 7th as the Reds rallied. After some solid singles and a walk, TJ Friedl knocked a 396-foot homer, clearing the bases and bringing the Reds back to within two runs at 6-4. Luckily, Nardi limited the damage by getting the next batter out. Relievers Tinoco and Faucher did a great job closing the game out.

Clutch Defense and Pitching Seal the Win! 🏆

Despite some nail-biting moments in the 9th inning, our guys held firm. After a walk and a double threatened our lead, we navigated through the trouble, keeping the Reds from scoring and securing a 6-4 victory!

What a game, Marlins! Let's keep this momentum rolling! 🎉
