A Gritty Cincinnati Victory!
Our Cincinnati Reds took on the Milwaukee Brewers in what turned out to be a nail-biter, but we emerged victorious with a final score of 3-1!
Early Game Struggles
The first inning saw a tense start with TJ Friedl getting on base with a walk, but unfortunately, the inning didn't produce any runs. Meanwhile, our defense held strong, preventing the Brewers from scoring, thanks to some slick moves by our infield.
By the end of the 3rd inning, the Brewers managed to squeeze in a run after Christian Yelich doubled and was brought home by a single. But fear not, because Gavin Lux kicked off the 4th inning with a double, sparking an offensive push. Spencer Steer brought Lux home to get us on the board, tying the game at 1-1.
Taking The Lead & Sealing The Deal
The top of the 6th was where things really started to heat up. Gavin Lux doubled again with the help of a fielding error, and Miguel Andujar knocked him in with a single to take the lead 2-1. An inspired Elly De La Cruz snagged an infield single, pushing Andujar to third. Tyler Stephenson delivered a clutch sacrifice fly to increase our lead to 3-1!
The rest of the game was a showcase of strong relief pitching, with Phillips, Ashcraft, and Santillan keeping the Brewers on their toes. Not to mention, Pagán closed out the game beautifully in the 9th inning, striking out William Contreras and securing the win.

Well Deserved Win for the Reds
Overall, it was a team effort with standout performances in clutch moments and consistent defense. Our Reds showed guts and determination. Let's build on this momentum moving forward. Go Reds!
