Game Summary: Reds vs. Twins - 8-4 Victory for the Reds! 
Hey Reds fans! What an exciting game today as the Cincinnati Reds took on the Minnesota Twins, and came out on top with an 8-4 victory! Let's break down the action-packed game that saw our boys dominate the field.Early Game Action 
The game started quietly with both teams unable to score in the 1st inning. But in the top of the 2nd inning, TJ Friedl gave us a reason to cheer with a solo homer to right field! The Reds took a 1-0 lead. Our pitching and defense held strong through the first few innings, with the Twins unable to get on the scoreboard.Mid-Game Highlights 
The Twins managed to tie the game in the bottom of the 5th with a homer from Byron Buxton. However, the top of the 7th inning saw the Reds explode with runs! Spencer Steer tripled, followed by Friedl's bunt single that scored Steer. Ty France then doubled, bringing Friedl home and making the score 3-1.The bases were loaded after a walk, and Elly De La Cruz smashed a 398-foot homer to right center, scoring four more runs!
The Reds were now leading 7-1!Twins' Response and Reds' Insurance Runs 
The Twins attempted a comeback in the bottom of the 7th, adding three runs to make it 7-4, but our bullpen held firm. In the top of the 8th, Steer doubled again and was brought home by Friedl, bringing the final score to 8-4.Our pitching closed the game out smoothly, with Edwin Díaz sealing the win in the 9th.
