What a thrilling game, Reds fans! The Cincinnati Reds took on the New York Yankees and came out on top with a hard-fought 5-4 win. It was a game full of intense moments and incredible plays that left us on the edge of our seats. Let's dive into the highlights from this unforgettable matchup! 
Early Action: Reds Struggle to Find Momentum 
The game started quietly for our Reds in the first two innings. Jonathan India's walk was the only highlight in the top of the 1st, but we couldn't capitalize as Elly De La Cruz struck out and Jeimer Candelario grounded out. The Yankees didn't fare much better, as Graham Ashcraft and the defense held firm to keep them scoreless.Breaking the Ice in the 4th! 
The top of the 4th brought the first breakthrough. Elly De La Cruz dazzled with a triple to right, and Jeimer Candelario grounded out to bring him home. Reds up 1-0!Middle of the inning: Yankees Score: 0, Reds Score: 1.
Explosion in the 5th! 
The 5th inning was pure fireworks for our offense! Stuart Fairchild got hit by a pitch, and then Will Benson launched a bomb to center, scoring Fairchild and making it 3-0. But we weren't done yet! After another hit-by-pitch, Elly De La Cruz went deep to center for a 425-foot home run, extending our lead to 5-0!

Yankees Claw Back, but Reds Hold Strong 
The Yankees mounted a comeback in the 6th inning. Aaron Judge and Anthony Volpe managed to score, bringing the game to a tense 5-3. Despite this, our bullpen, featuring Dauri Moreta and Alexis Díaz, held them in check. It got even closer in the 7th when Aaron Judge homered, making it 5-4.Locking Down the Win 
The final innings were intense, but our pitchers delivered when it counted. Lucas Sims shut the door in the 8th, and Alexis Díaz came in to seal the game by retiring the side in the 9th. A sigh of relief for all Reds fans!
