Reds Start Slow but Finish Strong! 🏆

What a game, Reds fans! Let's dive into that thrilling 6-3 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. The game didn't start in our favor, but we turned things around in spectacular fashion.

Early Struggles

The first inning saw us go down in order, with Jonathan India and Elly De La Cruz both flying out to center, and Tyler Stephenson reaching on an infield single, only for TJ Friedl to fly out to center too.

In the bottom of the first, the Blue Jays’ Vladimir Guerrero Jr. knocked a solo homer to put Toronto up 1-0. Not the start we were hoping for. 😔

Middle Innings Magic

We showed some resilience by tying the game in the third inning. Santiago Espinal doubled and later scored on a sacrifice fly by De La Cruz. But the Blue Jays quickly answered back, making it a 2-1 game in the bottom of the third.

Come the fourth inning, TJ Friedl hit a solo homer to tie it up again. What a comeback! 💪

Explosive Sixth Inning! 🚀

We absolutely broke through in the 6th inning, scoring 4 runs! Tyler Stephenson reached base on a passed ball, leading to TJ Friedl's single. Then Spencer Steer doubled, bringing Stephenson home. Ty France doubled to center, driving in two more runs, and Jake Fraley capped the inning with an RBI double, making it 6-2! 🌟

Closing it Out

Our bullpen did its job effectively, thanks to solid relief from Moll, Farmer, and Wilson. Fernando Díaz came in to seal the win in the 9th inning, despite Ernie Clement’s solo homer.

Overall, it was a real team effort to get this win. Great to see our guys keeping their composure and executing when it mattered most. Go Reds! 🔴⚾
