Tough Start and White Sox Homers
The battle in Chicago started rough for us Cleveland Guardians fans. In the first inning, Lenyn Sosa homered, putting up an early 2-0 lead for the Sox. After a pocket of hope with José Ramírez managing a cheeky reach on a fielding error by Brooks Baldwin, we couldn't capitalize. Despite the rough start, our boy Kyle Manzardo lifted our spirits with his solo homer in the 4th inning, sending that ball to the stands with authority!

In the 6th inning, David Fry came in clutch with a double, sending Gabriel Arias and Angel Martínez home – bringing the score to 5-3. The game was still within reach, and the excitement was palpable. But our guys couldn't quite catch another break. Despite another homer from Kyle Manzardo in the 7th shortening the deficit to 6-4, the White Sox defense held firm.Closing Letdown
Heading into the top of the 9th, hope was still alive, but we couldn't string together the hits needed to make the comeback. Kudos to the Guardians for their relentless fight till the end. Time to regroup and look forward to the next face-off with recharged spirit!
Guardians fight hard, but the final score was 6-4 in favor of the White Sox. Let's keep supporting our team, rain or shine, because Cleveland believes!
