Tough Day for the Twins
Fellow Twins fans, it was a challenging game today as the Guardians took full advantage and secured an 8-0 victory over our Minnesota Twins.
The first inning began with promise as Byron Buxton singled to center, but unfortunately, we couldn't capitalize with a score. Guardians Take Control
By the top of the 5th inning, the Guardians broke the scoreless start. Steven Kwan brought in two runs with a single to center and the floodgates opened with Gabriel Arias doubling to center, adding two more to their tally. By the end of the inning, we found ourselves trailing 6-0. Our pitcher tried to hold them back, but they managed to score two more runs in the 8th inning.
A Tough Offense Day
Throughout the game, our offense struggled to get past the Guardians' pitching. Royce Lewis managed a double in the 7th inning, and Carson McCusker and Edouard Julien had singles in the 2nd and 3rd innings respectively, but unfortunately, our Twins couldn't convert those into runs. Despite the efforts, the Guardians’ pitching was dominant.
