Guardians Take an Early Lead

It was a promising start for our Cleveland Guardians! ⚾️ In the top of the 1st inning, Steven Kwan gave us something to cheer about, homering to right with a 373-foot blast, putting us up 1-0. Shortly after, George Valera displayed patience at the plate with a walk. Kyle Manzardo kept the momentum going with a single that pushed Valera to third. Bo Naylor then came through with a sacrifice fly to center, allowing Valera to score and giving us a 2-0 lead. That was the kind of start that fills your heart with hope! ❤️

Holding Steady, But Twins Strike Back

Our Guardians held firm through the second, third, and fourth innings, maintaining a 2-1 lead even after Kody Clemens managed to score a run for the Twins in the bottom of the 3rd. Everything looked promising with solid defense and pitching keeping the Twins at bay. However, in the bottom of the 6th inning, the Twins turned the tables on us. A ground rule double and a 2-run homer by Brooks Lee put them in the lead, 3-2. Despite the setback, our guys seemed ready to bounce back!

Troubling 7th Inning and Missed Opportunities

Unfortunately, the bottom of the 7th proved particularly challenging. A throwing error and a 3-run shot by Royce Lewis widened the gap, pushing the Twins to 6-2. It seemed like the wind was taken out of our sails at this moment. Our bats were quiet for the remainder of the game, with José Ramírez managing a single in the 8th but no further breakthroughs. The Twins ultimately secured the 6-2 win. The game was a bit of a rollercoaster, but games like these build resilience. Let's hope for a bounce-back in the next matchup! Go Guardians! 🌟
