Heartbreaking Loss 😢

Phillies fans, today’s game was a rollercoaster of emotions. The Guardians edged us out 4-3, and it feels like a tough one to swallow.

Kyle Schwarber’s Fireworks 💥

Kyle Schwarber had a sensational game, blasting two home runs! He got things started early with a solo shot to left center in the 1st inning and followed it up with another bomb in the 3rd inning, this one a two-run shot, bringing in Garrett Stubbs. At this point, we were up 3-0 and the crowd was electric! 🎆

Guardians Stage a Comeback 😕

Unfortunately, the Guardians battled back. In the 4th inning, Jhonkensy Noel crushed a three-run homer to tie things up. And then, in the 7th inning, Steven Kwan hit what turned out to be the game-winning homer.

Missed Opportunities 🔄

We had chances to reclaim the lead, especially in the 7th inning when Kyle Schwarber walked to start the inning, but we couldn't capitalize. Trea Turner, Bryce Harper, and Alec Bohm each had opportunities but unfortunately couldn't bring the runs home.

Bullpen Tried to Keep Us in It 💪

Kudos to our bullpen for trying to keep us in the game. Gregory Soto, Orion Kerkering, José Alvarado, and Andrew Hoffman did their best to hold the Guardians, but we came up a bit short tonight.

Tough Finish 🔚

In the bottom of the 9th, we hoped for some late-inning magic. Garrett Stubbs struck out, Kyle Schwarber grounded out to first, and Trea Turner grounded out to short to end our hopes of a comeback.

Final score: 4-3 in favor of the Guardians. Let's regroup and get ready for the next one. Stay strong, Phillies Nation! 💪⚾ #RingTheBell
