A Roaring Start! 🐍

Hey D-backs fans! What a game we had today against the Rockies! From the very first inning, our boys were on fire. Corbin Carroll got us going with a walk, followed by a single from Jake McCarthy. Then Joc Pederson doubled to right, bringing both of them home and scoring himself on a throwing error by first baseman Michael Toglia. By the time the inning was over, we were already up 4-0! 💪

Steady Defense and More Runs 😊

Our pitching was solid throughout the game, keeping the Rockies at bay. By the second inning, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. added another run with an RBI single. Adrian Del Castillo, Eugenio Suárez, and Blaze Alexander kept driving the offense forward. Suárez was particularly impressive today, doubling to center in the 5th inning to score Del Castillo.

A Grand Slam Inning in the 6th! 🚀

The 6th inning was a blowout! After a series of strategic moves, including another hit-by-pitch on Pederson and Gurriel Jr., Suárez smashed a homer to left center, scoring Pederson, Josh Bell, and Gurriel Jr. That 4-run homer stretched our lead to 10-3. Talk about a powerhouse! 🏆

Finishing Strong 🏁

We didn't let up. In the 7th inning, Carroll and McCarthy reached base again, and a double play initiated by Bell brought Carroll home, making it 11-3. Even though the Rockies scored one more run in the 8th, our pitching lineup — including Ginkel, Thompson, and Puk — ensured that they didn't get any closer.

Closing It Out in Style 🎉

Top of the 9th, Puk came in to seal the deal. Tovar lined out, Rodgers grounded out, and Doyle flied out to left, bringing the game to a close. Final score: 11-4! This was a team effort and a clear demonstration of our offense and pitching prowess.

D-backs fans, this is just the start of what we hope will be an incredible season! Let’s keep this momentum going! 🐍✨
