What a game, Rockies fans! Our Colorado Rockies eked out a thrilling 2-1 win against the Los Angeles Angels, showcasing some solid performances and clutch plays! 🎉 Let's dive into the recap.

Early Lead with Tovar's Run​

We got off to a great start in the top of the 1st inning. With one out, Ezequiel Tovar singled to left, and after Brenton Doyle fouled out, Ryan McMahon walked, pushing Tovar to second. Kris Bryant then came through with a clutch single to left, scoring Tovar and giving us an early 1-0 lead! 🤩

Defensive Masterclass​

Our boys were sharp on defense, keeping the Angels scoreless through four innings. Notably, Joe Schanuel was picked off and caught stealing in the 4th inning. Great job keeping the pressure on, Rockies! ⚾

Angels Tie It Up​

In the bottom of the 5th, the Angels managed to tie the game. Logan O'Hoppe homered to right-center, making it 1-1. It was a tense moment, but our pitching and defense held strong afterward.

In the bottom of the 9th, Victor Vodnik came in to close it out. He retired the side in order, including a strikeout of Kevin Pillar. The Rockies secured the victory and held on to that 2-1 lead! 🏆
