Tough Start for the Rockies Offense
Oh boy, Rockies fans. It was a tough day at the plate for us on our visit to San Francisco. The opening moments saw Ezequiel Tovar, Hunter Goodman, and Blaine Crim all strike out swinging. While it wasn't the ideal way to kick things off, there was hope that our bats would heat up as the game progressed.
Bright Spots Amidst the Battle
While the runs seemed elusive for our guys, there were glimpses of promise! Brenton Doyle notched a double in the 2nd inning, and there was a string of base hits here and there as Kyle Karros and Warming Bernabel both contributed singles in the 5th inning. Doyle also displayed his speed and agility by swiping a base in the 7th inning. We just couldn't seem to string those hits together into runs, but hey, those sparks give us hope for the next outing!

Giants Prove Too Hot to Handle
The Giants came out strong with their hats full of tricks. Willy Adames and Rafael Devers each managed to send one out of the park with homers to the center, putting them on top early, which didn't bode well for us. Then, a costly error in the 8th inning put the Giants in perfect position as they extended their lead. A well-placed single by Jung Hoo Lee brought home two more runs, sealing a 4-0 defeat for our Rockies. Not the result we wanted, but we'll shake it off and come back stronger.
Let's keep looking for those victories and keep cheering for our guys! Here's to a better game next time, Rockies fans!
