As a St. Louis Cardinals fan, last night’s game against the Colorado Rockies was a roller-coaster of emotion. The final score, a 3-2 defeat, doesn’t fully capture the tension and excitement that unfolded. Our boys fought hard, but it just wasn’t enough to secure the win.Game Highlights and Key Moments
The game started off slow, with both teams' pitchers throwing gems through the first couple of innings. Our lineup, featuring Masyn Winn, Alec Burleson, and Paul Goldschmidt, tried to break through but couldn’t find their rhythm early on. The Rockies broke the deadlock in the top of the 3rd thanks to a fielder's choice from Charlie Blackmon that brought Jake Cave home.Our Cardinals showed resilience in the bottom of the 6th when Nolan Gorman singled and eventually came around to score on an error, sparking hope across the ballpark. Michael Siani then delivered a clutch single to bring in Ivan Herrera, narrowing the gap to just one run. The energy in the air was palpable, with fans rallying behind every pitch and swing.
Despite a promising setup in the 7th, with Alec Burleson and Nolan Arenado reaching base, the team couldn't capitalize. Our Cardinals fought to the very end, with Paul Goldschmidt singling in the 9th inning to bring the go-ahead run to the plate. Unfortunately, Nolan Gorman couldn’t find the magic, striking out to end the game.

It’s tough to swallow a loss like this, especially with the game being within reach multiple times. However, the fight and tenacity shown by the team, especially in the latter innings, are commendable
