Tough Outing for the Tigers 
My fellow Tigers fans, tonight was a tough one. Our boys battled hard, but the Orioles put on a daunting show, coming out on top with a final score of 7-1. Let's break down what happened.Early Struggles 
We started off the first inning with a flurry of activity, but unfortunately, it didn't lead to any runs. Parker Meadows flied out to left, Kerry Carpenter walked, and Matt Vierling struck out swinging. Carpenter was caught stealing second, ending the inning with no score. The Orioles, however, struck quickly with a two-run homer from Anthony Santander, giving them an early 2-0 lead.Mid-Game Challenges 
Our pitching struggled to contain the Orioles' offense. Colton Cowser homered in the second inning, extending Baltimore's lead to 3-0. We saw some hope in the 3rd inning when Trey Sweeney singled to center, but it didn't lead to any runs. The fourth inning brought more pain as James McCann hit a two-run shot, pushing the score to 5-0. We couldn't capitalize on our chances and edged closer to another defeat.Late-Inning Flicker of Hope 
In the eighth inning, we had a glimmer of hope. Andy Ibáñez came in as a pinch hitter, and he and Meadows managed to get on base. Sadly, we couldn't convert those opportunities into runs. Our only score came in the ninth inning when Spencer Torkelson walked, advanced on a fielder's indifference, and Trey Sweeney singled him in. Jace Jung also singled, but it was too little, too late. Meadows' pop-out to third sealed our fate.Looking Forward 
We fell short tonight, but let's stay hopeful, Tigers fans. It's a long season, and our boys will have more opportunities to shine. Our bats need to come alive earlier, and the pitching staff needs to find their rhythm. Let's keep showing our support and belief in this team! Go Tigers!
