Tough Loss in Boston
Well, fellow Tigers fans, that was a tough one to swallow. We went head-to-head with the Boston Red Sox, and despite some bright moments, we couldn't pull off the win, losing 4-3. There were a few exciting plays, but we just couldn't capitalize enough to change the game's dynamics.
Báez Brings the Heat
The game started a bit slow for us, but Javier Báez certainly gave us hope in the 4th inning! With a powerful homer to left center, he swept in Justyn-Henry Malloy and Wenceel Perez, giving us a 3-1 lead.

Boston's Rally
It was a hard-fought battle, and the Red Sox came back swinging in the bottom of the 4th inning. With Hamilton's two-run homer and Duran's double, they pushed ahead to lead 4-3, and we just couldn't claw our way back. Credit to our bullpen for keeping it close, but we fell just short in our comeback attempts.Highlights and Heartbreaks
Our guys had some solid moments on the field, with Parker Meadows and Andy Ibáñez each getting singles. And while Ibáñez tried to stir things up by stealing second, the Red Sox's defense kept us in check. It wasn't due to a lack of effort, as our pitching staff held the Sox scoreless from the 5th inning through the 9th—I appreciate their grit.
Let's keep our heads up, Tigers fans. We'll be roaring back soon!
