Mariners Pull Off a Thrilling Comeback Against the Tigers!

What a game, M's fans! The Mariners did it again, pulling off a stunning comeback to beat the Tigers 4-3. This one had us all on the edge of our seats until the very last play.

Pitcher's Duel Early On

The game started off with both teams struggling to get on base. Our pitching staff was nothing short of sensational in the early innings. The Tigers couldn't muster any hits off of our pitchers. Kudos to our defense for keeping things locked down.

Tigers Strike First

The fifth inning was a rough one, with the Tigers managing to score three runs. A double from Meadows and a clutch hit from McKinstry put them up 3-0. But we weren't going to let that deter us! 💪

Rally Time!

In the bottom of the sixth, Luke Raley got us on the board with a solo homer to right center. Finally, we broke the ice! 🙌 The excitement was palpable, but the real fireworks didn't start until the ninth inning.

Ninth Inning Comeback

We entered the bottom of the ninth down 3-1. Raley reached on an infield single, followed by Randy Arozarena's clutch single to right, advancing Raley to third. After back-to-back strikeouts from Cal Raleigh and Justin Turner, it was looking dire. But Jorge Polanco came up big with a walk to load the bases. This set the stage for Mitch Haniger, who doubled to center, clearing the bases and giving us the thrilling 4-3 victory! 🥳

Final Thoughts

What a finish! The Mariners showed their resilience and never-say-die attitude once again. Big shoutout to everyone who stuck around till the end; this one was worth it! Let's carry this momentum forward! Go Mariners! ⚾✨
