A Rollercoaster Battle
What a game, Astros fans! Our beloved Houston Astros managed to edge out the Los Angeles Angels in a thrilling matchup that had us on the edge of our seats until the very last out. The final score was 8-7 in favor of Houston, with some incredible performances by our lineup.
Home Run Parade
The first few innings were a bit quiet, but the action heated up quickly starting in the bottom of the 4th when the Angels took a brief lead thanks to a homer by Logan O'Hoppe. But the Astros didn't let that last long. In the top of the 5th, Mauricio Dubón sent a rocket over the left-field fence, and following his lead, Jeremy Peña tied the game with a massive 423-foot homer. Then, a crucial error and doubles by Cam Smith and Christian Walker allowed us to pull ahead.Dubón didn't stop there; he hit another homer in the 6th, giving us the breathing room we needed.

Defense and Late Drama
Despite the Angels' late push, our pitching staff held firm. Josh Hader sealed the deal after Zach Neto's solo homer in the 9th threatened our lead. But a fantastic defense ensured that the Angels couldn't capitalize further. Jake Meyers was crucial in securing that final out with a catch from Mike Trout's attempt.Astros fans, savor this win! It was a nail-biter, but the resilience our boys showed is exactly why we call them our team.
