What a Game! Padres Shutout the Astros 4-0! 
Hey Padres Nation! What an incredible game we had against the Astros! Our boys came out on top with a solid 4-0 victory. Let’s dive into the highlights and key moments from this exciting matchup.Stellar Defense Shuts Down the Astros Early 
Our pitching and defense were lights out from the start. Jose Altuve, Yordan Alvarez, and Alex Bregman couldn't make any noise at the top of the 1st inning. The same story continued as the Astros were unable to get on base through the first three innings. Props to our infielders for those quick outs and smooth plays! Padres’ Offense Finds Momentum

The bottom of the 6th inning was the turning point for us! Manny Machado cracked it open with a majestic homer to left center, giving us a 1-0 lead. From there, it only got better! The bottom of the 8th inning was an absolute blast (literally) as Fernando Tatis Jr., Manny Machado (again!), and Donovan Solano all homered, extending our lead to 4-0. Our pitchers kept the Astros in check right till the very end. Even with a slight hiccup in the 9th inning, our relievers held strong. Special shoutout to Scott for closing it down and sealing the win after that tense moment with runners on base. Key Performances
