First Inning Fireworks! 🎇

What a way to start the game, Twins fans! Our boys came out swinging in the bottom of the 1st inning. Willi Castro set the tone with a double to right field, and Royce Lewis brought him home with a single. That was just the beginning! Matt Wallner added a double before a throwing error allowed both Lewis and Wallner to score. By the end of the inning, we were up 3-0!

Royals Respond

In the top of the 2nd inning, the Royals tried to mount a comeback. MJ Melendez managed to tag us with a solo home run, cutting our lead to 3-1. Fortunately, that was all they could muster as we quickly shut them down.

Growing the Lead 🌱

We extended our lead in the bottom of the 3rd inning. After Matt Wallner walked and Jose Miranda doubled, Miranda brought Wallner home to make it 4-1. Christian Vázquez added further distance with a solo home run in the 4th, making it 5-1. Our bats were on fire!

Answer to the Royals' Second Run

In the top of the 5th inning, the Royals added another run thanks to Michael Massey's double scoring Kyle Isbel. But our lads were quick to respond. The bottom of the inning saw hits from Wallner, Miranda, and Max Kepler. Manuel Margot's infield single and Vázquez's sac fly brought in more runs. By the end, we led 8-2.

A Game-Breaking Inning 💥

The 6th inning was decisive. Though Salvador Perez hit a solo homer for the Royals, Kepler answered in style with a three-run homer in our half of the inning, making it 11-3. This game was all but sealed!

Another Big Blast from Farmer!

Kyle Farmer replaced Willi Castro in the 7th inning and immediately made his mark. After Austin Martin's double, Farmer hit a two-run homer to extend our lead to 13-3. This was getting fun to watch!

Close It Out 🔒

The 8th and 9th innings were all about our defense. Josh Winder closed the game strong, striking out two and allowing only one hit. Our pitching was stellar, shutting down any hopes of a Royals rally.

Victory Cheers! 🎉

A dominating performance by the Minnesota Twins as they secured a whopping 13-3 victory over the Kansas City Royals! Every player chipped in to ensure this win. Onwards and upwards, let’s keep this momentum going, Twins fans!

Go Twins! 🌟
