A Slow Start for our Angels
Hey Angels fans!
Bright Spot in the Fifth Inning
The good news came in the fifth inning when Jo Adell walked. Following him, Luis Rengifo hit an electrifying homer to right center, driving in Adell and giving us a temporary lead, 2-1. Rengifo's shot traveled 386 feet and was a moment of pure joy!
Brewers Bounce Back
After holding the lead briefly, our Angels faced a resilient Brewers team. They didn't let up and found ways to score runs, especially in the seventh inning. Despite Luis Rengifo's earlier heroics, the Brewers took advantage of their opportunities. Jackson Chourio and Brice Turang contributed crucial hits, leading the Brewers to a 5-2 lead. Our bullpen, relieving Garcia, struggled to keep their bats silent then.A Final Push, but Fell Short
In the eighth and ninth innings, the Angels tried to rally. Mike Trout and Christian Moore reached base, putting pressure on their defense. Yet, they couldn't shake off the persistent Brewers. Perhaps luck wasn't on our side as crucial plays ended in outs and strikeouts, including Oswald Peraza and Yoan Moncada, who couldn't convert opportunities. The game concluded with a final score of 2-5. We still stand by our team and can only look forward to the next opportunity to play!Keep your heads up, Angels fans! We know there's more to come!
