Rockies Highlights: A Promising Start
What a game, Rockies fans!

Dodgers Fight Back
Unfortunately, the Dodgers weren't going to let us have it easy. In the top of the 3rd, Mookie Betts managed an infield single that brought in a run, tying the game 1-1. Then in the 6th inning, a single by their Freddie Freeman put them ahead, making it 2-1. Our pitching struggled here, with Chivilli and Mejia trying their best to keep their bats in check but the pesky Dodgers took advantage.Ohtani’s Homer Seals the Deal
In the 7th inning, Shohei Ohtani launched a homer to center field, extending the Dodgers' lead to 3-1. That was a real heartbreaker for us Rockies fans, especially after hoping we could rally back. Our bullpen, with Kinley and Vodnik, gave it everything but couldn't keep Ohtani in the park.A Tough Finish
Despite some solid efforts in the 8th and 9th innings, we couldn’t break through their pitching, and our bats fell silent. We had some promising appearances by Mickey Moniak, who drew a walk in the 7th, but in the end, the Dodgers shut us down. The final score was 3-1 in favor of the Dodgers.Keep your heads up, Rockies fans! We'll bounce back and keep bringing the heat. Let's look forward to the next game!
