Dominance from the Start 🚀

What a game, Dodgers fans! From the very beginning, it was clear that we were here to dominate. Shohei Ohtani gave us a glimpse of the magic to come with a double to right to start, and even though we only got one run in the 1st inning thanks to a sacrifice fly by Will Smith, the tone was set. The Marlins couldn’t even get on base, with Xavier Edwards, Connor Norby, and Jesus Sanchez all failing to get a hit.

Taking Control Early 🏃‍♂️💨

In the 2nd inning, Max Muncy walked, Gavin Lux managed an infield single, and Ohtani brought in the runs with a single to right. The Marlins tried to fight back with a homer by Jake Burger. However, the bottom of the inning ended with just one run for Miami, while we were already cruising ahead.

3rd Inning Explosion 🌋

The 3rd inning was where the real fireworks started! Walks from Muncy and Lux, followed by another walk by Andy Pages, set the stage. Tommy Edman scored after some wild pitches, and Ohtani showcased his power with a clutch double that cleared the bases. By the time the dust settled, the score was a mouth-watering 7-1 in favor of the Dodgers.

Ohtani's Home Runs Light Up the 6th and 7th Innings 💥💪

Ohtani continued his spectacle with a towering homer in the 6th inning, adding two more runs to our lead. The 7th inning was no different – Ohtani homered yet again, this time a blast to left. A wild pitch allowed Gavin Lux to score, and our lead stretched to 14-3.

Closing with Style 😎🎉

As the game progressed, we saw contributions from every part of our lineup. By the top of the 9th inning, Ohtani continued to amaze with a massive 440-foot homer that brought home Muncy and Chris Taylor. In the end, we closed the 9th with a monstrous score of 20-3 before the Marlins added a lone run with a homer from Nick Fortes. That last Miami effort couldn't dampen the celebratory mood as the Dodgers triumphed with a final score of 20-4.

Looking Forward 🏆🔵⚪

With this commanding win, the Dodgers showcased their unstoppable talent, and Shohei Ohtani was nothing short of spectacular. It's a great day to be a Dodgers fan! Let’s keep this momentum going and bring home that championship!

Go Dodgers! 💙
