Early Game Action

The game started with the Dodgers striking first when Shohei Ohtani walked, stole second, and scored on a single by Freddie Freeman. However, our Cardinals quickly responded in the bottom of the 1st. Alec Burleson singled, stole second, and eventually scored on a single by Willson Contreras. Not the start we hoped for, but an excellent way to level the score early on! ⚾

3rd Inning Magic

A real game-changer happened in the bottom of the 3rd inning when Alec Burleson hit a fantastic 2-run homer to right field, bringing Masyn Winn home and putting us ahead 3-1. This was an absolute treat for the fans! Burleson was on fire today. 🔥

Nail-Biting Mid Game

The Dodgers closed in during the top of the 5th inning when Shohei Ohtani hit a solo homer, making it 3-2. But guess who answered back immediately in the bottom half? None other than Masyn Winn, who hit a majestic 410-feet homer to center! ⚡️ This extended our lead to 4-2.

Closing it Out Strong

In the bottom of the 8th inning, Nolan Arenado sealed the deal with a solo homer to left field, putting us up 5-2. The crowd went wild! Our pitchers continued to impress; especially Ryan Helsley, who closed the game with three solid outs in the 9th inning to secure the victory. 🎉

  • Alec Burleson was a standout, not just at bat but also with strategic base running.
  • Willson Contreras showed why he's behind the plate with timely hits.
