A Rollercoaster Start
It was a nerve-wracking beginning for the Braves as the Marlins jumped ahead early. After Xavier Edwards singled and later stole second, Jonah Bride hit a two-run homer that put the Marlins up 2-0.
Unfortunately, Jorge Soler, Austin Riley, and Marcell Ozuna couldn't get anything going in the bottom of the 1st inning, setting the tone for a tight game.Quiet Middle Innings
The Braves struggled at the plate in the early innings, unable to find their rhythm against the Marlins' pitching staff.
In the top of the 3rd, the Marlins extended their lead to 3-0 with a solo homer by Jake Burger. Orlando Arcia finally broke the ice for us in the bottom of the 5th with a homer to right center, making it 3-1. 
However, other opportunities were missed with strikeouts and groundouts halting our momentum.Rally Time!
Our boys showed resilience in the bottom of the 6th inning. Whit Merrifield tripled to right, and Riley's groundout allowed Merrifield to score, making it 3-2. Then came the pivotal 8th inning! Jarred Kelenic led off with a walk, and Soler drove him in with a single to tie the game at 3-3.
Ramon Laureano pinch-ran for Soler and advanced to third on Riley's double. Ozuna then sacrificed to left, giving us a 4-3 lead. The excitement didn't stop there; Arcia singled, bringing Riley home and extending our lead to 5-3. 
Closing It Out
The top of the 9th was tense as the Marlins threatened. David Hensley led off with a strikeout, and Otto Lopez reached on an infield single. After some fielder's indifference moved runners into scoring position, Laureano held steady in right field while Joe Jiménez delivered critical strikeouts. Bruján struck out looking to end the game, sealing our victory at 5-3!
This game was a testament to our team’s resilience. Way to go Braves!
