Marlins Jump to Early Lead

The Miami Marlins came out swinging in the top of the 1st inning. Jazz Chisholm Jr. set the tone with a walk, which was quickly followed by a massive 393-foot home run by Bryan De La Cruz, scoring both himself and Chisholm Jr. Not to be outdone, Jake Burger added another run with a solo homer, putting the Marlins up 3-0. 💥

Adding More in the 2nd Inning

Our boys didn't stop there. In the top of the 2nd, a series of defensive errors by the Brewers allowed Nick Fortes and Chisholm Jr. to cross the plate, extending our lead to 5-0. The Brewers struggled defensively, and we capitalized! 😊

Brewers Get on the Board

The bottom of the 3rd saw the Brewers’ Rhys Hoskins hitting a solo home run. Then Sal Frelick doubled, but an attempt to steal by Jackson Chourio was quickly shut down by our infield. The inning ended with the Marlins still comfortably ahead 5-1.

Brewers Score Again

The Brewers chipped away again in the 4th inning with a sac fly by Gary Sánchez, bringing William Contreras home. But that was all they could muster. Our lead held strong at 5-2.

Strong Defensive Performance

From the 5th inning onward, our defense tightened up. Key plays from Nick Gordon and some solid relief pitching from Anthony Bender and Huascar Brazoban ensured the Brewers couldn’t close the gap. 😎

Insurance from Josh Bell

Just when the Brewers thought they might mount a comeback, Josh Bell hammered a solo homer in the top of the 9th, pushing our final score to 6-2. That’s how you put the game out of reach! 💪

Closing Time for Scott

With our lead secure, Tanner Scott came in to close. Though Contreras got a single and Haase drew a walk, Scott struck out the final two batters. Game over, Marlins win! 🎉

Final Score: Miami Marlins 6, Milwaukee Brewers 2. 🐟
