Tough Day at the Office for the Phillies 
Man, it was a rough game for our Phillies today. The Marlins handed us a tough 5-0 loss. We just couldn't get our bats going, and their pitchers seemed to have our number all day long.Early Struggles 
Right out of the gate, things didn't look great. The Marlins got on the board in the top of the 1st inning with Jake Burger walking and then scoring on a single by Jonah Bride. Another run came in when Otto Lopez singled to right, bringing home Jesus Sánchez. We were already down 2-0 before we even got to bat.Missed Opportunities 
We had some chances to score, but couldn't capitalize. In the bottom of the 1st, Bryce Harper singled to center, but we couldn't bring him around. The same story played out in the bottom of the 4th when Nick Castellanos hit a ground-rule double with Alec Bohm on third, but we couldn't push any runs across.Solo Homer from Burger 
In the top of the 3rd, Jake Burger hit a 405-foot homer to left center, putting us further in the hole at 3-0. Our guys tried to fight back, but it seemed like every ball we hit found a Marlins glove.Defensive Mishaps 
There were also some costly errors. In the top of the 7th inning, the Marlins scored when Xavier Edwards advanced all the way to home on a throwing error by J.T. Realmuto. That made it 4-0.Final Blow 
The final nail in the coffin was Jesus Sánchez's 401-foot homer to right center in the top of the 9th, bringing the score to 5-0.Offense Couldn't Break Through 
Our lineup just couldn't find any rhythm. Kyle Schwarber struck out looking in the 8th, and Trea Turner followed with a strikeout swinging. We ended the day without scoring a single run. Tough to watch.Let’s Bounce Back, Phillies!
