Tough Battle Against the Marlins
Well, Rangers fans, it was a hard-fought game, but unfortunately, we couldn't come out on top against the Marlins, losing 4-2. The game started off slow with both teams struggling to get on the scoreboard early.
Marlins Take the Lead
The Marlins broke through in the 4th inning when Otto Lopez drove in Xavier Edwards with a double. Another run followed when Heriberto Hernández singled to bring home Lopez. The Marlins added to their lead in the 5th and 7th innings, putting us behind 4-2 despite our best efforts.
Rangers Rally But Fall Short
In the 6th inning, Wyatt Langford provided a spark with an electrifying home run to left center field!
This was followed by Cody Freeman's single that allowed Josh Jung to score after getting on base from a previous wild pitch. We had hope with some late-game runners, thanks especially to Langford who kept getting on base, but ultimately we couldn't capitalize.On to the Next One
While this one didn't go our way, it's clear the fight is still in our boys. There were flashes of brilliance, and Langford's performance was a joy to watch. Time to regroup and look forward to our next game. Keep the faith, Rangers fans! We'll get 'em next time!
