However, in the top of the second, Willy Adames kicked things off with an infield single. The Rockies responded swiftly in the bottom of the second inning with Brenton Doyle smashing a homer to left field and Jacob Stallings tripling to center. Andruw Monasterio and Brice Turang reached base, and Christian Yelich hustled to load them. Then, Willy Adames hit a sacrifice fly to tie the score again, and a crucial hit-by-pitch on Rhys Hoskins scored Turang to put us ahead.Our closer Trevor Megill shut the door with a strong 9th inning, facing four Rockies and sealing our 4-3 victory with a strikeout to end the game.
