A Classic Cardinals Comeback! 🚀⚾️

Hey, Cardinals fans! What a game we just witnessed! The Redbirds showed grit and determination to pull off a thrilling 10-6 victory over the Brewers in 10 innings. Let's dive into the rollercoaster ride that unfolded at Busch Stadium today.

Slow Start for Both Teams 😅

The game started off quite slow, with neither team scoring through the first three innings. Our pitcher did a great job keeping the Brewers off the scoreboard, and the defense was solid. A special shoutout to Masyn Winn and Nolan Arenado for turning some key double plays early on! 🎯

Cardinals Strike First 🥳

In the bottom of the fourth, the Cardinals finally broke the deadlock! Nolan Arenado started things off with a double. Lars Nootbaar moved him to third with a single, and then Tommy Pham came through with a sacrifice fly to bring Arenado home. Masyn Winn followed that with a clutch single, scoring Nootbaar. Cardinals up 2-0!

Brewers Rally to Tie It Up 😬

The Brewers didn't stay quiet for long. They managed to tie the game at 2-2 by the middle of the sixth inning. They kept applying pressure, but our bullpen, including a solid outing from Genesis Cabrera, kept us in the game.

The Seventh-Inning Surge 🚀

The Brewers took the lead in the top of the seventh with two runs, making it 4-2. But we answered right back! Alec Burleson hit a double, and Luken Baker stepped up big time with a two-run homer to tie it back up at 4-4. What a moment! 💥

Edge-of-the-Seat Eighth and Ninth Innings 👀

The Brewers grabbed a 6-4 lead in the eighth, but the Cardinals weren't done yet. In the bottom of the ninth, with two outs, Matt Carpenter walked in a run, and Tommy Pham walked to score another, making it 6-6 and pushing us into extra innings.

Walk-Off Wonder Arenado! 💥🔥

The Brewers couldn't score in the top of the tenth thanks to Ryan Helsley closing the door. In the bottom half, Masyn Winn advanced to third on a groundout, setting the stage for Nolan Arenado. He lived up to the moment, crushing a three-run homer to left, securing a 10-6 victory for the Cardinals!

What an incredible finish! Nolan Arenado was the hero, but it was a true team effort. This game was everything we love about baseball - tension, excitement, and ultimate triumph. Go Cardinals! 🔴⚪🙌
