A Nail-Biting Start 
The game kicked off with the Brewers threatening early as Jackson Chourio got a double, but our ace pitching and defense held strong. The Brewers' William Contreras followed with a single, but Garrett Mitchell and Willy Adames couldn't capitalize. Our boys got to bat, but were also held scoreless despite Willson Contreras sending a sharp single to center. Pitching Duel Continues 
The second and third innings saw stellar defensive plays from both teams. Nolan Arenado was a rock at third base and our outfielders were lights out. Despite Victor Scott II getting on base with a double, we couldn't bring him home in the third inning. But hey, the tension was building!Mid-Game Stalemate 
Nothing came easy in the subsequent innings. Both teams struggled to get hits, and Miles Mikolas was dealing some serious heat. By the end of the 5th inning, the scoreboard was still locked at 0-0. Our hearts were pounding, but it looked like anyone's game!Breakthrough in the 7th! 
Our fortune changed in the bottom of the 7th. Victor Scott II set the tone with a single. Masyn Winn and Alec Burleson followed suit, loading the bases. Then, Willson Contreras walked, bringing in Scott II. It was the moment we were waiting for! Brendan Donovan hit into a fielder's choice, allowing Winn to score. Finally, Nolan Arenado delivered the insurance run with a single, making it 3-0!Closing it Out 
The bullpen came alive in the final innings. Ryan Helsley shut the door in the 9th, allowing just one hit. After a centerfield single by Mitchell, he got Adames and Hoskins out, sealing the deal for a 3-0 victory!Final Thoughts 
What a game, folks! Our pitching and defense were impeccable, and the clutch hitting in the 7th inning was all we needed. Big shoutout to Victor Scott II, Willson Contreras, and Nolan Arenado for stepping up when it mattered most. A hard-fought, well-earned victory for our St. Louis Cardinals! Let's keep this momentum going!
