A Thriller in Boston! 🎉

What a game, Twins fans! Our boys pulled off an incredible 4-2 victory over the Red Sox in a thrilling 12-inning showdown. Buckle up as we break down the action-packed moments that led to this sweet win.

Early Innings: A Pitchers' Duel

The game got off to a slow start, with both teams' pitchers dominating the early innings. Carlos Correa managed a single in the 1st, but we couldn't capitalize. The Red Sox had their chances, but our pitching staff kept them at bay.

The Red Sox Strike First 😟

In the bottom of the 4th, the Red Sox drew first blood. Trevor Story singled to center, bringing home Tyler O'Neill and putting Boston ahead 1-0. Our boys, however, didn’t flinch.

Fighting Back 💪

Top of the 7th, Byron Buxton led with a single, then stole second. Trevor Larnach followed with a single, advancing Buxton to third. Carlos Correa grounded into a fielder's choice, but Buxton scored to tie the game 1-1.

Locked Down to the 10th ⚾️

Neither team could break the deadlock through regular innings. Incredible pitching and some neat defensive plays took us into extra innings.

12th-Inning Fireworks! 🎇

In the Top of the 12th, we finally broke through. Byron Buxton singled and Kyle Farmer reached third. Trevor Larnach's infield single scored Farmer, boosting us to 2-1. Carlos Correa walked, loading the bases. Then, Matt Wallner singled to right, plating Buxton. A sac fly from Willi Castro brought Larnach home, pushing our lead to 4-1.

Closing it Out 🏆

Though Boston managed a run in the bottom of the 12th, Griffin Jax nailed it down, striking out Trevor Story to end the game. Final score: Twins 4, Red Sox 2.

Let's give a huge shoutout to our bullpen and Byron Buxton for their clutch performances. What a way to secure a win! Go Twins! 🌟
