Twins Dominate with Pitching and Power
What a sensational game for us Twins fans! In the series opener against the Texas Rangers, our Minnesota Twins shut them out 4-0, powered by some lights-out pitching and a couple of bombs from none other than Byron Buxton.
Buxton's Heroics
Byron Buxton wasted no time making his presence felt, launching a 418-foot solo homer in the top of the 1st inning to give us an early 1-0 lead. If that wasn't enough, he came back in the 8th inning and crushed another homer, this time a three-run blast traveling 437 feet, bringing home Edouard Julien and Christian Vázquez.

Stellar Pitching Seals Shutout
Our pitchers were an absolute wall today! Tyler Mahle set the tone early, supported by solid relief appearances from Josh Funderburk, Jose Ohl, and Josh Sands, who combined efforts to silence the Rangers' bats. The Rangers just couldn't catch a break against our formidable pitching rotation as they racked up strikeout after strikeout and kept Texas off the scoreboard! It's always a treat when the team clicks on all cylinders – potent batting and resolute pitching make us tough to beat. Let's keep the momentum going, Twins!
