Mets Triumphant in Subway Series!
What a brilliant day to be a Mets fan! Our boys absolutely crushed it today with an emphatic 12-3 victory over the Yankees in the Subway Series!
Explosive Offense!
After a slow start with the Bronx Bombers taking an early 1-0 lead on a solo shot by Gleyber Torres, the Mets unleashed their bats. Tyrone Taylor got us going with a homer to tie it up, and then our bats just didn't stop! Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso both homered, with Francisco Lindor going deep twice and driving in 4 runs!
Alonso's two-run blast in the 4th gave us the lead, and we never looked back. What a day for the Polar Bear and Captain Lindor! 
Pitching That Stood Firm
Sean Manaea struggled a bit, especially early, but our bullpen really stepped up. Major kudos to Adam Ottavino and the Young boys, D. Young and A. Young, for holding the Yankees at bay. A few tight spots, but they delivered when it mattered. Great job shutting down those Yankee bats!
Late Inning Fireworks
The 8th inning was one for the ages! Mark Vientos started things off with a homer, then a series of hits and a key error by the Yankees allowed us to pile on 6 runs! Francisco Lindor capped it with his second homer of the game, a massive 432-footer! Brandon Nimmo and J.D. Martinez also contributed with key hits. So satisfying to see us deliver a knockout punch to the Yankees!
Final Thoughts
This was a dominant team effort, and we showed why the Mets are a force to be reckoned with. Win against the Yankees always feels extra special, doesn't it?
